Monday mornings are the worst especially after having a good weekend!!
Not that we did much....
Cuz we didn't.....
Friday, Caleb worked from home. I left Preston with him while Elli and I met a friend for lunch. Friday evening we all went to Target and wandered around and bought birthday gifts for family. The evening was topped off by some McD's hot fudge sundaes....YUM. We also watched a bit of Edward Scissorhands-can you believe I had never seen it before?? Still haven't....fell asleep.
Saturday morning, we all slept in a bit-if you can call 8:30 sleeping in. Caleb got up and planted rye grass in our backyard! I'm so excited for plush green grass!! We then all packed up to go into town. We stopped at the clinic to get both kiddos their immunizations, and then went to BJ's for some yummy pizza, followed by Babies R Us to buy family picture clothes. It was a great fun day together!
Yesterday, Caleb had meetings all morning. We found out yesterday that they have finally called a new financial clerk, so Caleb is stoked that he doesn't have to pull double duty anymore. Preston did great at church...although he did decide to walk the pew during the sunday school prayer and fell on his head. That kid has one tough noggin.
Preston is doing good lately-he has started babbling alot in his own little language. It's cute in a creepy sorta way. We also discovered this last week that he has been trying to eat himself out of his crib....no really....he has created some good sized gashes with his teeth in the wood. We also still haven't figured out his not swallowing problem....I'm sure it has something to do with taste though, since he has no problem eating the things he loves.
Our sweet little Elliott isn't so little anymore!! She's getting so chunky and big!! She, also like Preston was, is a phenomenal sleeper. Last night she slept 9 hours straight, and it was a BIG SLICE OF HEAVEN PIE. I'm also stoked to see that she is growing herself some good sized eyelashes-she wasn't born with hardly any so we were afraid they would stay that way.
So, as you can see, we are hanging in there. Same ol'. We are very excited to spend Thanksgiving in Eagar. I am especially excited that Caleb has agreed to let us take our time driving up there, and stop to spend time at places along the way. Anyone know of any fun places to stop in Payson or Show Low? Do share if you do!

Show us the outfits you picked!! How exciting, gotta love family pictures! We took ours yesterday and can't wait to see them. Sounds like it was a good weekend for your family, sleeping in till 8:30 has gotta be nice!
So Preston has been eating his crib. Baby Dallin did the same thing! All of the other kids had to use his hand-me-down crib with strange bite marks around the edge. Too funny.
Sounds like good times. I do have to say that Edward Scissorhands is grossly overrated. :)
There is a beautiful park with a pond in the center and pretty green grass for running around in downtown Payson. Love the pics!
Oh my gosh, I'm jealous! I don't even remember the last time I got 9 hours straight! I know it was around January. SOmeday BOTH babies will sleep through the night...I hope.
